The Afghan Whigs perform their classic song, “My Curse” from the album “Gentlemen” with the original voice on the studio recording, Ms. Marcy Mays, a very rare live occurrence.
Marcy and her band, Scrawl, were on the list of musicians playing the ATP “I’ll Be Your Mirror” Music Festival, which led me to hope that perhaps, this performance would take place. The whole Afghan Whigs show was mind-blowing. This song was one of many highlights.
